Team Achievements (State Championships)
Battle Mountain’s wrestling program has an exceptional track record:

Nevada State Record: The program has won 19 state championships, with 16 of those under longtime head coach Mitch Domagala (Great Basin Sun Article).

Coach Mitch Domagala (1994–2022) holds a Nevada coaching record with 17 team state championships, 4 runner-up finishes, and an outstanding dual record of 458–123–3. He also coached 94 individual state champions, produced 241 state placers, 6 high school All‑Americans, and 11 college-level wrestlers (National Wrestling Hall of Fame).

Since 2001, the program captured 18 2A state titles, including six straight from 2013 to 2018, with their most recent title in 2023 (Las Vegas Review Journal).
